Turning on Mac Firewall

To turn on the Firewall on your Mac computer:

1. Go to System Preferences.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Open the Security and Privacy preference.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Click on the Firewall tab. If the Firewall is turned on, then you have finished.  If it is turned off, please continue.

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Unlock the preference by clicking on the lock symbol at the bottom of the preference window.

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. Then click the button to Turn On Firewall.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6. Then click on the lock to lock the preferences.
